We’re Adam and Audrey. Our pursuit, is to grow high quality lavender, which we distill and infuse into our small batch, thoughtfully made products we hope will help many!
How We Farm
We are a husband and wife team, and do all the work here on the farm. Our pursuit, is to grow premium lavender, harvesting it by hand, distilling it for it’s sweet essential oil which is infused into our small batch handcrafted products.
Here at Sleepy Creek Lavender Co. we never use pesticides or herbicides in our fields and all weeding is done by hand.

Our passion is creating products to help folks with the very things we deal with first hand...stress, sleep, pain and anxiety. It starts with an idea, that could help many! We study medical research, for therapeutic effectiveness then we begin.... Our goods are thoughtfully made and slowly crafted. We custom blend the herbs and essential oils for their properties and aromatherapy benefits. We trial our goods both personally and by testers, using honest feedback before bringing them to you.
Our Lavender Essential Oil
Distillation is a labor of love, but one we enjoy! It would be more efficient to buy oil wholesale, but quick and easy isn’t our thing. Slowing down our processes, to produce the highest quality lavender essential oil then infusing it into our handcrafted products, is authentic to who we are!
When the lavender blooms, honey bees feed on the delicate purple flowers. Once finished, we start harvesting. Steam distillation through our copper alembic still, extracts two wonderful compounds, sweet essential oil and hydrosol also known as “floral water”. The “spent” plant material is then composted back into earth, a beautiful circle of life.
