2026 ‘MAILLETTE’ Hydrosol

We are passionate about lavender wellness! Lavender contains linalool and linalyl acetate which are the therapeutic compounds that makes lavender helpful for things such as stress, sleep anxiety and pain. We instinctively wanted to know which lavender cultivar had the highest concentrations of these therapeutic constituents, and Maillette was the most therapeutic lavender we could find in the scientific research.

Maillette (l x angustifolia) can be very hard to propagate, source and challenging to grow. We have 50 plants we’ve tended to for 3yrs and we finally had enough plant material to distill. This is an exclusive micro batch with on 14 bottles total for 2026.

Our lavender is grown with love, harvested by hand and steam distilled with care in our copper alembic distiller. Copper removed the sulphur note and provides a top shelf premium essential oil along with therapeutic grade hydrosol also known as floral water. Hydrosol contains trace amounts of all of the therapeutic constituents in the essential oil but in a water form. Sought after in Europe for is use in top shelf skin care routines, anti aging along with use in scrapes, burns, bites, eczema or other skin irritations.

Each year the lavender produces a slightly different scent with weather patterns. Our 2026 Maillette is absolutely lovely, the scent is multi-layered, sweet floral, complex and is sought after in Euprope for it’s use in therapeutics and high end perfumes. Maillette offers gentle grounded calm and nourishment for thr skin.
