About this Cultivator
Melissa Lilac is one of our most vigorous growing, cold hardy, top producing angustifolias! Exceptionally fragrant and prized for it’s premium top shelf essential oil, Melissa Lilac captures the eye with plump fluffy lilac-colored blooms, elegant form, and beautifully soft, sweet fragrance. Rather than the deeper purple associated with traditional lavender, ‘Melissa Lilac’ produces graceful spikes of lilac and violet-blue flowers that create a sophisticated, almost silvery haze when the plant is in full bloom. This is a lavender with both beauty and purpose. Its aromatic gray-green foliage and abundant flower spikes make it a standout in in fields with the contrasting monochromatic lilac colored blooms again the traditional deeper purple colored cultivars. Melissa Lilac is also used in culinary applications.
The fragrant flowers are suitable for:
• Baking, cookies, cakes and shortbread
• Lavender sugar and syrups
• Teas and herbal infusions
• Lemonade and other beverages
• Jellies and preserves
Each Tray contains 36ct Deep Cell Jumbo Field Plugs
